About Libra Moon
Contemporary Indigenous Artist with Passion for Design
With a passion for creativity and design, Charity at Libra Moon has been crafting unique and beautiful jewelry since she was a little girl; a love she shared with her mother. Though life became busy with motherhood and the grind, the passion always called. The call finally manifested when the world briefly slowed down and she began to make jewelry therapeutically. She found much joy in creating unique gifts for others, and it is carried in her work.
Using upcycled, vintage jewelry elements whenever possible, Charity also strives to create as little waste as she can and salvages well-loved pieces to create one-of-a-kind, eclectic, wearable art
Charity's most loved material is copper. She's been drawn to it for as long as she can remember. Copper is in her blood. Her ancestral home, The Native Village of Chitina, or Tsedi Na', translates to Copper River. Her people, Ahtna Athabascans, were the first to mine the nearby copper-rich mountains and the famous Kennecott mine.
Copper is widely known for having many physical and spiritual benefits and is highly conductive. Therefore, Libra Moon takes special care in handling your jewelry from start to finish, with only the highest vibration and warmest intentions. Good vibes guaranteed ☮️
